We are looking for an Executive Support Team Supervisor, based at Brigade Headquarters, St Michael’s Street, Shrewsbury, to oversee our executive support function for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The role involves leading and supervising the team, which provides administrative/clerical and technical support to our Executive officers in the Service. This support encompasses functions, including data input, information collation and provision, servicing meetings, filing and document management and acting as an initial contact point with the public, other organisations and internal customers.
We are seeking an experienced PA with a proven track record of working under pressure and the ability to meet tight deadlines. You should be an excellent organiser and communicator with a proactive and friendly attitude. You will display a flexible and adaptable approach to work and have the ability to demonstrate tact and discretion for dealing with confidential information.
Applicants must possess good communication skills and have a minimum of OCR RSA Word Processing Stage 3 or equivalent and 4 GCSE passes at A - C level or equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics. Experience of supervising a small team is essential.
